Command Line/Terminal 3D Rendering

I have a lot of computer-generated 3D meshes that I would like to render as 3D images. I only need one snapshot of each mesh, and since I have a lot of these mesh files, I would like to automate the image rendering.

I can easily convert the 3D data into a an obj or DirectX .x mesh format, but I haven't been able to find a decent command-line/terminal renderer. I tried POVray, but it always launches开发者_开发问答 the GUI when I call it from terminal.

Does anyone know of any renderer that can take an obj as input and output a file?

You are not using the right binary of povray then, or maybe you forgot to pass -D

Edit: Google would tell you this.
