spring security problem

I'm trying to enable the spring security with the annotation an test it. I've putted in my context file:

<context:component-scan base-package="com.example.service" />
<security:global-method-security secured-annotations="enabled" />

But when I put the secured-annotations to enable the context:component-scan don't create my service that stay in the package...why this can happens?
