Add a new column in win7 explorer?

I would like to create a new column for the detail view of the windows7 explorer. Actually I don't even know what to search for or if it even is possible.

Anyone ever tried something like that or 开发者_运维技巧could give me a hint what I should look for?

TortoiseSVN had such a feature up to windows XP. It seems, this is no longer possible since windows vista/7.
