Exception thrown: RubyGem version error: activerecord(2.3.8 not >= 3.0.3)

I keep getting this error and I am stumped. So the application is in rails 2.3.8 and here is my gem list

I had rubygems 1.3.7 and i downgraded to 1.3.5 and the error persists...

What can i do to resolve

Could be you "Remote source", try doing:

gem sources -r http://gems.rubyonrails.org

then add:

gem sources -a http://rubygems.org/

Also... you can post which gems do you request in your environment.rb file (RoR 2.X) or Gemfile (RoR 3.X)

just edit the rails version in the config/environment.rb file to 2.3.8
