Amazon CloudFront has bad bandwidth in China. Any suggestions?

Hi I'm using Amazon CloudFront (Files are on S3) for my SaaS application and I'm suffering from slow connections in China. I haven't found too much information on this matter, any one faced this kind of problems?

I've contact ChinaCache maybe to utiliz开发者_StackOverflowe them for CDN in China but they have yet to reply.

Any suggestions?

Almost certainly a GFW issue, gov throttles/blocks/interferes with most services that it deems to be in competition to Chinese business as the quality gap is generally quite large and the Chinese business would struggle to compete.

If you go with a local CDN remember that there is little in the way of data protection and if you are running SAAS you customers may not be happy with having their data stored on Chinese servers (depending on the nature of you app of course)

Don't just stick to one CDN.

AWS CloudFront is now available in China but it has special setup requirements.

To start using CloudFront in China, customers must setup a CloudFront distribution using the AWS Management Console or API in China and also obtain a valid ICP (Internet Content Provider) recordal.

Amazon CloudFront is now Available in Mainland China
