Jquery plugin doesn't work

I'm trying to install a jquery plugin but i cannot make it work. This is my header:

jquery.js is the jquery file downloaded from the site. ar.js is the plugin file:

It seems all good to me... where am i wrong?

Am not sure what is the error you are getting. From the code you have posted I can see a point of improvisation:

A few things to check:

• Are all files being included properly?
• Does your textarea have an ID of #first. If so, is your textarea being added to the DOM after the page loads?
• Do you see any errors or issues in Firebug?
• Is the version of jQuery you are using compatible with the plugin you are using?
