Does the SDK provide a way to group Annotations, like on Photos (places)

I would like to implement a similar effect where the pins are grouped together then separate with an animation as you get closer to the points. This effect is seen in the Photos app when you select Places with geotagged a开发者_运维知识库pps

It seems it doesnt but there is a 3rd party library which provides this functionality:
