visual studio 2010 installation problem

I'm trying to install visual studio 2010. but at the begining of in开发者_运维百科stallation I get this error message box:

" setup.exe has stopped working A problem coused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

and I can just click the button " close program"!

the version of my Windows is seven ultimate x86.

can anybody help me ?

Look for a running msiexec on your system. Slay it and try again.
