ALTER TABLE tablename.tab
        DROP CONSTRAINT ....  --you have a system generated name. Well done.
ALTER TABLE tablename.tab
        ADD CONSTRAINT DF_tablename_mess1 DEFAULT 'hi' FOR mess1
