Accessing the Java call stack

I would like to know if it's possible to access the call stack from within a method to see which method in which package called the开发者_Go百科 one we are in now?

Or perhaps there is another way of doing this?

P.S. This is all in Java

There is a way:

Thread.currentThread().getStackTrace()

But there should not be a reason to do this other than for debug purposes.
