Improve this question

I'm trying to find out which rules govern user-added content in google maps.

I'd like to know if I can store certain placemarks from google maps on my server and on the client(the latter for the sake of caching).

I have been reading through Google maps terms but could not find a direct answer to this que开发者_如何学Cstion.

Is this what you're looking for?

You must not...

10.3 pre-fetch, cache, or store any Content, except that you may store limited amounts of Content for the purpose of improving the performance of your Maps API Implementation if you do so temporarily, securely, and in a manner that does not permit use of the Content outside of the Service;

Of course, if your own users are adding the content, it should be fine.
