Format Authlogic "last_login_at" string
Using Authlogic, the time format for @user.last_login_at" looks like thi开发者_开发技巧s:
Mon Apr 12 16:52:56 -0400 2010
How can I mangle that into a more user friendly string?
Use;
@user.last_login_at.d.strftime(‘%b %d, %Y’)
# will print April 12, 2010
The following are the format codes;

%B The full month name (“January’’)

As others have pointed to, strftime
works--but if you're using authlogic in a Rails app, there are some prerolled time helpers. @user.last_login_at.to_s(:long)
for example.
Use strftime
:
@user.last_login_at.strftime("%d %m %Y %I:%M:%S")
