Log-in with Facebook in messenger's embedded browser (Android) - web application
we're developing web application that significantly relies on logging in via Facebook. One of the most popular sources of traffic will be messenger - and our page will be opened in messenger's embedded browser.
And here we have a problem - In opposition to the embedded browsers in other applications (for example Slack and even Facebook app), log-in via Facebook in messenger's embedded browser doesn’t seem to work. After providing credentials, the page is displayed as in the attached picture (it says close this tab) instead of redirecting to our website. Without redirection, we are not able to get the token.
The interesting fact is that in some other websites log-in via Facebook in messenger's embedded browsers works perfectly (so redirection to the origin page works). The way h开发者_运维技巧ow they implement that seems the same as ours. Working example: https://sprii.live.
So, what can be the difference? Some Facebook application settings? We were testing different configurations without success. Any ideas / tips? I've seen similar topics, but most of them concerned mobile apps - our case is different, because we have web application and rely mostly on messenger's embedded browser.
