Parsing XML in a java 1.4 environment

I'm developing an application for an old phone which is running java 1.4 and it's not upgradeable.开发者_高级运维 I can't find any library for XML parsign that is compatible with such an old java runtime.

Any idea?

javax.xml.parsers seems the most obvious solution - it is bundled in the JRE. You have a DOM and a SAX parser.

Not even (an older version of) Xerces?

Dom4j has a nice API and is compatible with Java 1.4.
