Error trying to read Roles Section from Web.Config

When executing this line:

Dim roleRedirectSection As LoginRedirectByRoleSection = DirectCast(ConfigurationManager.GetSection("loginRedirectByRole"), LoginRedirectByRoleSection)

...I get the following error:
