How to effectively "relax" the amount of line breaks in the Eclipse jdt formatter?

I have some code that, when formatted using my formatter.xml file, is extremely long (rather than wide) , not taking advantage of my wide montior .

What parameter increases width the most if you have a block of code with several switch statements, if statements, and method calls ?

Ive gone through looking for "method_line_break" and parameters of th开发者_开发问答at sort, and have not found anything.
