About not having Class Variables [duplicate]

Just found out that Objective-C doesn't seem to ha开发者_开发知识库ve Class Variables. There are people who suggest that we can use static variables in Class Methods instead. It sounds reasonable to me. Wish that somebody who is knowledgable in this area can confirm this.
