XSLT inject HTML

I have the following XML:

<person>
      <name>John</name>
      <htmlDescription>A <strong>very</strong> <b><i>nice</i></b> person </htmlDescription>
</person>

I would somehow like to use this XML in XSLT transform to produce HTML such as

A very nice person
