Search An Enum Value inside of An Enum

I've tried the code below but it always returns nothing, It should enter

If [Enum].IsDefined(GetType(TransactionCodes.Debits), CInt(oEntryDetailRecord.TransactionCode)) Then
                    iTotal += CInt(oEntryDetailRecord.Amount)
End If
