Error in NonGUIDriver - java.lang.NullPointerException
I am currently integrating jmeter with maven.
Using Jakarta-Jmeter 2.4 dependency-- Jmeter2.3 and all the supported jars i am creating test plan through GUI and saved it with jmx. i am using maven-jmeter-plugin 1.0 and adding two dependency soap and common-logging in the maven-jmeter-plugin. by doing this when i run mvn verify, it gives an error:` INFO] Executing test: C:\Documents and Settings\339298\Desktop\simple-webapp2\s
rc\test\jmeter\Graph Results.jmx

on the net, i got three solutions:
- java version
- add soap and common-loggin dependency
- in .jmx file, TestPlan tag should be the root elemnrt and saved the testby right clicking TestPlan
However, none of these worked for me.
Use the latest version (1.4 as of writing this).
It's now available in the central maven repo, for more info have a look at the project website -> http://jmeter.lazerycode.com
Beware, if you are using a JMeter feature that arrived in JMeter 2.4 (i.e. didn't exist in JMeter 2.3) maven-jmeter-plugin will not be up to date and will not handle it correctly - as it is based on JMeter 2.3.
I would also look in your jmeter.log for further information.
I came across the same issue when using version 1.10.1, and realized that I was using custom plugins. After removing them and using jmeter test plan out of the box solved the issue.
