No mapping found for HTTP request with URI [duplicate]

This question already has answers here: Why does Spring MVC respond with a 404 and report "No mapping found for HTTP request with URI [...] in DispatcherServlet"? (13 answers) Closed 6 years ago.

I'm getting this error

No mapping found for HTTP request with URI [/val/valsys/auth/login] in DispatcherServlet with name 'val'

This is how my dispatcher.xml look like..

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:p="http://www.sp开发者_运维百科ringframework.org/schema/p"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans
        http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-3.0.xsd">

<!-- Declare a view resolver -->
<bean id="viewResolver" class="org.springframework.web.servlet.view.InternalResourceViewResolver"
        p:prefix="/WEB-INF/jsp/" p:suffix=".jsp" />

</beans>

Your mapping your request to the dispatcher servlet but you don't have any mapping defined in your dispatcher so it cannot handle it

Have a look at this simple example

In 'WEB-INF/web.xml', we declare Spring DispatcherServlet and map '*.html' URLs to it:
