EXC Bad Access error on iPhone Networking app

I seem to be having a problem with this general method. The problem is in the line [(TCPClient *) tcpClient connectHost: @"localhost" port:5000];

}

I believe it is a problem with the above allocation of tcpClient. This is the initWithDelegate method, but I don't see a problem with it.

Your problems is in these lines,

if([tcpClient respondsToSelector:@selector(setShouldKeepRunning:)])
    [(TCPServer *)tcpServer setShouldKeepRunning: NO];
[tcpClient release];

You are checking whether tcpClient is capable of responding to setShouldKeepRunning: and later invoking it on tcpServer. As it is crashing, tcpServer is not nil and cannot respond to setShouldKeepRunning:. You probably meant it for tcpClient. Adjust code as necessary.
