Is there a limit when reading .mov videos with the mpmovieplayer in progressive download?

Is there any kind of limit to the mpmovieplayer when loading a .mov or .m4v distant movie in progressive mo开发者_运维技巧de (so no streaming) ? I'm talking full-length movie (600+ Mb) The app will be distributed internally (no appstore approval needed) and we would like to prevent having to set up a streaming server for that.
