Filter to existing web part

I'm looking for a simple example to connect two web parts to eachother.

1. My own filter web part
2. Existing list (For getting filter values)

I'm developping my application for Sharepoint 2010 and i cant seem to find any good tutorial which does not开发者_JAVA百科 implement deprecated / obsolete functions. Can anyone point me to an example or has a simple example available?

This will provide you with basic knowledge on connected web parts.
