Jersey 1.6 with Spring 3.0.5 using Maven

I'm having hard time getting Jersey to work with Spring 3.0.5. I found many person that says that they where able to make it work but I'm out of luck. I always get:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.springframework.web.context.ConfigurableWebApplicationContext.setId(Ljava/lang/String;)

Is anybody able to make this work?

Do a mvn dependency:tree and make sure there aren't any more versions of Spring getting pulled in from elsewhere. ConfigurableWebApplicationContext.setId() did not exist in Spring 2.5 but it does in 3.x.

Thank you ERICACM, Awesome answer. I had the same problem using spring 3.0.5.release. There were two jars from 2.5.6 stuck in my web-inf/lib folder. Removing these fixed the problem.
