OpenSSL error: undefined reference to `_OPENSSL_cleanse|

I'm trying to compile the code below and I'm getting trouble from two lines 57 and 70 for an undefined reference to _OPENSSL_cleanse.

I'm not sure if I'm missing a header or maybe a lib is missing in the linker. I'm using gcc with codeblocks.
